Shari's

The first server we had was good. She came to our table and let us know she was being sent home and that we would have a different server. That server never came to our table. We didn't get our drinks refilled or checked on to see if we were ok. That's a real bummer...

we have eaten at sharis over the years and liked it . But this time the prices were to high and portions were to small. The food was good and love the pies. The service and atmosphere was great. Dennys is much cheaper and food just as good plus they give 15% discount for AARP.

I ordered the pot roast, and the meat was tough (under cooked,) the vegetables were crunchy (under cooked,) and while the meat and potatoes were hot, the vegetables and gravy were luke warm. My dinner partner ordered the rice pilaf, and the rice was all stuck together in a large lump (over cooked.) After our meal, we sat at the table for about ½-hour waiting to place our dessert order. The prices have increased over the last several months, and the service has gotten much worse. We used to like going to Shari's because it was a good value, but the value is not there anymore.

It wasn't busy at all and we had to ask for water. The team wasn't very attentive. Toast was cold. I like Sharis but this one has the worst service and food in the area.

Once again I was over charged. I had the Canoli; coffee and supposedly a free cinnamon roll (with Validated Survey receipt) and my bill came to $16.38. This is the price I would pay if the cinnamon roll was NOT free. I have several hundred Shari's dollars on my club card that I was going to buy needy families meals during the holidays but not at this Shari's and maybe not at any. Am tired of being short changed.

I sat at the counter on a Sunday morning. The counter top was dirty, the area behind the counter was littered with dirty utensils and blenders, open sanitation solution buckets and dirty plates. The counter was sticky, salt and pepper shakers sticky as well.

The service gets worse very time we try eating there. Takes forever for the order to come out. I ordered my drink before I even sat down, my husband came in a little later and ordered coffee and he got it long before I got my pop.

We bought 3 breakfast and one Lunch Trio. I had a coupon for buy one breakfast and get one $2.99. The gal only gave me a $6.00 discount because she said it was off the lowest price item. I pointed out to her that it was to be off the breakfast not a lower price lunch. When I pointed it out to her she said we should have had the order broken up into two tickets. What a bunch of baloney. When we made the same purchase at the Sharis in Coeur d Alene a few weeks back they did it correctly and had no problem. Since the gal was rude about I let it go but still feel that I was cheated out of my proper discount. I think she was just to lazy or didn't know how to fix it. VERY UNSATISFIED!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oatmeal was literally in slices. Restaurant was filthy. Feet stuck to floor in entry. Restrooms were horrid, trash overflowing. It was nearly empty, but no silverware and no one cleaning up big spills on floor. Young manager didn't seem to see any of it.

Our server, Zhitem, ignored filling our drinks up on time. She passed our table several times while we had our drinks at the end to hint we were thirsty. It wasn't until the 4th or 5th time she finally asked to refill them for us. Also, my fiesta style omelet did not come with avocado when that was the reason why I ordered it. Also, we asked for cheesy eggs and it failed to come with cheese. On another note the manager also ignored checking us out after our meal. We waited patiently while she seated about 4 other groups walking in after we had been standing there about 10-15 minutes. She also made the environment look very uncomfortable as she bossed her associates around. VERY DISPLEASED! On another night, also towards the end of the evening, the cook AGAIN really disappointed us in getting our order correct, the cook had to not only remake my boyfriends fries once, nor twice, but three times until they finally got it right. All we asked for was regular fries and we got a tangy one, then they remade it but the cook "left for a smoke" then they were burnt so finally the waitress took it into her hands to remake our fries, then we were pleased. This store overall at night, SUCKS!
