Shari's

The young man who seated us was very personable. I wish more servers were like him . The NW steak salad Was good.

What struck me most this time (because I'm used to Shari's being slow with seating and food prep at times) was that I only got a small glass of water with no lemon. If I remember correctly, I have ordered water to drink before and received a full, large glass with ice and lemon. I realize you don't get MONEY for serving water, but I have kidney trouble and MUST drink a lot of water. The other thing was the salad. The lettuce and spinach pieces were so huge, I had to cut all of them. I guess I am being picky, and you DID supply me with a knife, but all that cutting seemed to interfere with my conversation.

I had a $5 off coupon. Our bill was $37. I had a $15 gift card. The cashier could not figure out how to use the gift card. She fiddled with it until there was a long line waiting to be seated. Then she called the manager. He came and took the gift card but did not take off the $5. So we ended up paying $22. I was to embaressed at this time to say anything because so many people were waiting to be seated right behind me. I hated to ask if my points were entered and could not tell by the receipt.

Customer service at the Sullivan road location in Spokane Valley, WA is pretty horrible.

Way too much pepper on the Willamette vegetables, my companion couldn't stand to eat hers.

Everything was delicious and the server was super. It just took quite a while to receive our lunch...about 20 minutes. I guess in this day of fast food, we expect things to come out quicker. But it was worth the wait..all was very tasty!

Basically because my food wasn't as warm as I think it should have been. My toast only a dot of butter.

I so appreciate Shari's being open on Christmas Day. I had very few options, and, all things considered, everyone did a fantastic job. The place was absolutely slammed. I was touched by the effort and positive attitude of all the employees. Thank you!

It would be nice if the Manager was interactive with the Customers (smiling, greeting, etc.). Fries portion was small for an adult. Ketchup bottles were not full.
