Shari's

I wrote it all in the earlier screen.

The prices were raised but the portions were diminished. Not happy.

Several of the tables were left unkept with irty dishes for the 30 minutes I was there and we're dirty when I arrived. When I suggested that they should have a bus boy to clean the tables I was told by two crew members that they did not have any bus boys. (that was my point). Your company either understaffs or doesn't train properly, or both. When one crew member tells me she was alone until the other waitress just showed up after what seemed to be a busy breakfast crowd I am left to think either your company doesn't care for it's employees moral or it's impression on it's patrons. Very poor of Shari's to operate this way and think its good business.

Besides this Sharis being understaffed most of the time, the servers have a serious problem with tunnel vision. You can't get their attention unless you chase one down.

Chicken fried steak tasted like chicken fried hamburger. Gravy tasted greasy. Mashed potatoes were lukewarm at best. (Not cold, but lukewarm) Server looked kind of sloppy with shirt tail out, sleeves partially rolled up The chicken fries steak used to be really good. What happened?

The hostess (woman with a very long braid) ignored us when we came in, forcing us to stand there awkwardly for several minutes while she busied herself behind the counter. When she finally greeted us, she didn't even look us in the eye or speak to us, she just waved to us with the menus to follow her. Our waitress was very nice and made up for it with her friendly and efficient service, but the very bad hostess experience and the fact that the food quality has been steadily declining in recent months has caused us to feel like we have to cross Shari's off of our list of favorite lunch spots.

Took too long waiting to place our order. Waitress did not come around to check on us - we had to track her down for service. She went around to other booths in our area to check on them but would not stop by our table. Bought the wrong meal to our table and insisted it was correct. After returning from the kitchen admitted she did not place the order correctly.

the salad was not fresh and had multiple brown pieces of lettuce in the salad. The waitress tried ti act sophisticated and artificially aristocratic that came off as snooty instead.

walked in at 5:05. was never acknowledged till the manager seated me. He didn't even asked if I wanted any drinks or water. I saw two other tables that were seated after me get their orders taken and got their drinks. still nothing. they kept walking by but nothing. Not one employee acknowledged me until I flagged down the manager again at 5:35 and asked for a waiter. He proceed to take my order. food arrived, he brought it to the table. everything was good. then when we finished he took the plates and asked about pie. yes to both. got our pies-no forks. had to flag him down again for forks. finally done with the meal. Now the waiting for the check. Not as long but still was quite a while. waiting over a half hour for someone to take our drink order let alone acknowledged us, we at least should have gotten one meal comped. Very Very disappointed in last night. We come here quite often iand this was very poor service.

Discussing the vegetable choices with the server. I am selective and cannot eat certain vegetables. She provided "cookie cutter" description and made no effort to isolate the vegetables I could eat and apply to the meal. Rather she offered to substitute fruit or double up on the potatoes. Order arrive and the plate looked bare. What appeared to be a standard portion of potatoes and a single Country Fried steak Patty with just enough gravy to cover the top of the patty. Then a plate of fruit (which I DID NOT want). The patty was hot from microwave or Toaster Oven. The Potatoes were very slightly above room temperature. For what I got, HIGHLY over priced. Had the food been better and the price a little cheaper (2.69 for ice tea). I would have splurged for desert.
