Shari's

The food did not taste really fresh.

The servicer was wonderful, and highly atentive. My children enjoy the it food, and actually finished their complete dinner , which is rare. Jennifer was a wonderful server and are sure we were well attended.

The main reason we went there was because my wife wanted the butternet squash soup.. and it was on the menu.. it was on the special of the day board.. and they said they didn't have any.. so at the last minute she had to choose something else... that is always a let down.. when you have to change your mind at the last minute..

wait time for service

Coffee was cold but I switched to a Macchiato. Ordered scrambled eggs - got over easy but the server quickly fixed that. I ordered bacon only, received bacon and sausage. The server was very apologetic and was quick to resolve issues.

Waitress was taking orders from our 4 year old child. We didn't appreciate that. We really hadn't had time to review the menu or anything and she jumped in and my kid started placing the order. So we had to send her away to give us time. She also vacuumed the floor next to us while we were eating. Also, we were given one of our menu items without it being complete. They fixed it quickly but my husband was irritated.

The restaurant became very busy, our waitress was too busy with her other customers on the other side of the restaurant, and with only one cook, it took too long to get our food and it was very warm.

In general, Shari's is always great. We have noticed some inconsistency with the Summer Berry Salad. That was the issue with this visit. The salad does not always come prepared in a consistent manner, even if we somewhat request some customizing. This time the bacon pieces were actually grisly, under cooked end pieces and there were no nut pieces as there has been before. The issue was expertly handled by our server. She was great. Her name is Daleen and she is a super server.

HIGHLY satisfied would mean I was absolutely thrilled. I enjoyed my visit there, the food was fine. the waitress very friendly. I will be going back. However I can't say I was HIGHLY satisfied. Okay?

Prices have gone up to the point we aren't as likely to choose Shari's over other favorites.
