It may have been the time of day (about 12:30), but the staff seemed uninterested in serving us. When we were seated it took about 10 min before we knew who our waitress was and for her to take our drink order. Then another 10 or so to get them. When the food arrived it was obvious it had been waiting for the waitress longer than it should have since it was merely warm. She left the food on the table and left, only to check on us once before bringing the check. We have eaten at this store before with much better service which is why we went again. I am hoping this was a one time event.

The people and the restaurant are fine, but the menu has been butchered. Seriously, only three omelet choices? Shari's, to me, was always known as a breakfast place and now the breakfast menu seems seriously lacking in selection. The frittatas are decent enough though a bit small considering the only side included is toast. Is Shari's going broke? Is that why I am only provided with one type of jam for my toast instead of having a caddy offering me a selection of jams and jellies, and peanut butter? I would have probably gone to IHOP instead but they are always full whereas Shari's never seems to have a wait. Now I see why. I know for next time.

We have eaten at the South Sharis for years and always been very pleased. However these past months it seems to be sliding down hill fast. I ordered a cup of soup and side of fries, my husband order the seniors pot roast. It was 2:303PM in the afternoon and very few other customers. We waited at least 20 minutes before soup came, then waited some more. Waitress was sweet and said the rest of order should be coming soon, fries had just been put in. We could see into the kitchen very clearly and the cook was constantly talking and looking at someone. Our food finally came, pot roast dinner was cool and fries wee too darn hot to eat! Had to take then home. Due to slow service we declined to have pie.

Rebecca was rather rude, we never got straws. Not to mention, the promotional item, the Fried green tomatoes burger, they didn't have green tomatoes. I had the avocado bruchetta instead. That was rather good.

OMG, we have experienced issues at Shari's before, but this was beyond. The hostess that seated us what wonderful, got our drink orders, even got my daughter a special smoothie, a waitress came and brought us our drinks, and then we had this waiter who barely spoke to us, except to ask if we were ready and if we had a question it was always answered with " of course" which is fine, but he never, not once checked on us, we had to get his attention and that was tough. They seemed to be short staffed but my daughter needed ketchup a new fork, and a plate, and he brought it when everyone else was done eating. really. I have never had that kind of experience. It was awful. We almost had to get out of our seats to get his attention.

It took 15 minutes for our waitress to come to our table, we weren't even given water we were already ready to place our orders. Then it took another 20-25 minutes to get our food. When we got our coffee the coffee container was filthy!!

Im typically a fan of Shari's, and eat at various branches fairly often. If there were a Sharis in Gig Harbor my wide and I would eat at Sharis more often. The Silverdale Shari's has become a disappointment for before work breakfast with my coworkers, because at least one cook at that time of day serves unacceptably small portions. The server has been spoken to about this, more than once, and " coffee on the house" has been the best/only adjustment. Now, we're talking ordinary bacon and eggs breakfasts here, so his only ability to skimp is to give us tiny portions of hash-browns, or kiddie sized pancakes. I dont dare directly complain to a cook working over a griddle, and it seems the server doesnt dare to either! I rarely if ever have experienced this at Port Orchard, Tacoma, or Puyallup area restaurants. Unless I hear from the Silverdale manager, I wont eat an early breakfast there again. There is a road closure that is having a substantial and negative impact on that location, and I sympathize with management, but I doubt that management has any intention of allowing regular local customers to become dissatisfied with any aspect of their experiences there.

My grandson and I ordered Mushroom & Swiss Cheese burgers (his with bacon added). The burgers were served on a chibata roll instead of on a regular hamburger bun. The chibata roll was too small for the burger and, in my opinion, did not taste well with the mushroom burger. It would have been much better on a large regular hamburger bun. My grandson, who LOVES mushroom burgers, did not like this one. Also, my granddaughter ordered cottage cheese with her grilled cheese sandwich and an applesauce pouch was served instead. The server promptly replaced the applesauce with the cottage cheese. (That was not a problem; it was just an oversight.) Otherwise, the rest of the food and service was very satisfactory. We like Shari's. Thank you.

Our wait times & food were perfectly fine. Our problem was that when Jenyce dropped off our appetizer, both our water cups were by the edge of the table & were empty and she never came back with water. Then the manager dropped off my partners food and only gave him a refill on his Arnold Palmer but left both our water cups empty- leaving me with no beverage. Then Jenyce drops off my pie and still doesn't come back with any water. Jenyce only checked up on us when we were all done with our food. We saw the manager helping and cleaning, as well as talking and lounging... while tables are needing to be tending to. Usually we get a check from our server then we go to the front, but Jenyce did not give us a check or send us to the front to be taken care off. We could tell Jenyce was all over the place, but to ignore our empty cups how many times, and by the manager? Made us feel insignificant, so no tip. I had ONE small glass of water my entire visit and was done with it by the time our appetizer came. Eh.

Took too long to get my order. 3people came in 5 minutes after me and got their food first. My breakfast order was a senior order, but I ordered a regular breakfast. Paid for a regular breakfast.
