Shari's

I went through my meal without the waitress coming to check to see if everything was ok. I was out of water for my tea and had been for 10 minutes or more. There was a piece of blue plastic in my grapes. I was sitting by the sidebar, she had time to talk to her friend, and only do her job when the manager was on the floor.

My party was seated quickly at a very clean table and drinks were taken at a satisfying time. But the problem was that our server brought out a pie instead of a pie shake after she repeated multiple times. That was taken back and corrected. I ordered a crispy chicken BLT and only received a BLT. Another member of my party had an almost raw steak when he had asked for medium rare and that was taken back and brought back at a somewhat lengthy period of time. Other than those mistakes were fixed, my experience was below par.

After almost a year since last visit figured the service might have been improved. But not only has it not improved but the quality has dropped further than I remember. The fact you no longer have a Host/ess to expedite entry and exit says you really have lost sight of customer service.

When I got my order the bread for the sandwich was already falling apart and when I picked it up it just crumbled . She asked me if I wanted another sandwich but I figured if the bread wasn't good for this why possibly have the same problem . I have never had to use a fork and knife to eat half a ham sandwich .

food was almost cold --had biscuits and gravy , very little gravy /dry

We came in sat down, ordered. Then another table ordered after us, they got their food before us. When we ordered first. I ordered eggs benadict, one of my eggs were popped, the other one was still WAY undercooked, like my egg was still clear... we ordered stuffed browns, they werent stuffed. And it took almost 45 minutes to recieve our order.

the mashed potatoes were cold; the steak was almost to tuff to cut with a steak knife and half of it was gristle; the vegetable portion was very small.

Good pie. Mediocre service

On 11-24-15 I called and ordered two pies for pickup on 11-25-15. One apple and one pumpkin. On 11-25-15 my wife picked up the pies (45 mile round trip-Vader to Kelso) when she got home we took the pies out of the bag and found one pumpkin and one marionberry.

Service and staff is always great at Shari's. I ordered Corned Beef Hash Breakfast. The corned beef was so salty it bothered my tongue from the start and hours later it is still raw. Way too salty! I ate about a third of it. Then decided I had enough to eat anyway. Large breakfast.
