Shari's

Not enough staff available for the amount of tables. I felt badly for our waitress. Took a long time to even be acknowledged at the door when we first arrived. Then found out we were supposed to step up and get on a list. No sign directed us to do that so 4 other groups of people were seated before we were because they knew to do that. Once we got our water and coffee we were never offered refills of either. Waitress was so busy that all she could do was take the order. Someone else brought the food out and we had to go up to the counter to get someone to bring my piece of pie and then again to get the bill. They were too busy to process my café club card at time of payment so she asked me to do it online. I am not finding where to do that. I love Shari's and this won't keep me from eating there again but would really like to see them hire enough people to effectively wait on the customers.

I bought A Peach Pie. The peaches are so hard we could barely cut them with a fork. There wasn't any taste either. I have bought several pies in the past but this was bad!

The portion size vs. price is not acceptable. My family and I left the Sharis hungry. Service was short handed, but this did not affect the amount of food on the plate. We expected more for what we paid for. Very displeased.

We have stopped there before when travelling between Seattle and Portland and forgot how slow the kitchen is. In the future we will go over to Denny's.

Ordered extra vegetables (instead of rice), rice on plate when delivered. When extra vegetables delivered, they looked an tasted better. Both plates had burned vegetables (overhead warming lights). Salmon was way undercooked inside (red, not pink).

seating and order taken timely was great...but no check back on our food and we had T-Bone steak and eggs and the steaks looked wonderful but were horrid....very tough and your steak knives could not even cut them. tasted like cardboard and very hard to chew...perhaps from mexico ? The stuffed hash browns were very good though. We finally had to find server to get boxes and pay. left hungry.

I sat at a table with 2 friends, it took 45 minutes for someone to take our orders. Another group was seated behind us, and were served before us. They already had their food before we even got to order ours. The staff seamed to know them and visited with them some. When I received the Traditional Honors Breakfast, it only came with one egg, and I thought for sure the menu stated 2 eggs with the meal.

I have been going to this Shari's for 15 years. i never had an omellate that tasted like water. They changed them somehow. I will never buy an omellate again!

My fish batter was not cooked on my fish. I notified the waitress she offered to get another piece. The host (male) was dismissive about the matter. His attitude was poor and said he didn't know how that could happen when the fish is cooked and then frozen???? Should he have taken the time to look at the piece of fish he would have seen the problem. His attitude in general was poor, the people sitting behind me had ordered pie, he informed them there was no more in their choice and there was some in the freezer, "they better hurry up and make up their minds that there were people at the register buying pies and they might not get their second choice" Again his attitude was as if it was a bother to him and "hurry up". I have stopped at this Sharis for years ... usually service and quality of food is great at this location.

got seated no problem......but then did not see anybody for up to 20 min. finally the manager came by and offered to get drinks....ten another 10 to 15 min. to place are order.......then another wait for the food........oh yes the food was a piece of pie and a banana split........we use this sharis when ever we travel north.......this is the first time we ever had a problem.....this was on the trip home around 10pm. we stopped here on the trip up....I had the fish and chips.......the fish on this order was not very satisfying, very very small portions......but we will stop there again on our next trip..hope it is better
