I ordered a ham and cheese omelette, and asked for light cheese and added mushrooms. What I got was a cheese omelette with heavy cheese, mushrooms and no ham. When I brought it to the attention of the cashier, he told me that he had prepared the omelette, but didn't offer any explanation why it was wrong. Pancakes with the omelette were seriously undercooked, and they were quite gummy Drinks were not refilled

poor service when restaurant was not busy ordered fish and chips with salmon chowder. Chowder tasted like Ivars from a can., fish reminded of Gortons frozen fish sticks.., fries were vey mushy and lukewarm at best. Husbands burger was overdone and bland

I have been eating at this Shari's for 15 years. Lately the speed of service seems to have been quite a bit slower. On this visit it took over 35 minutes from the time I placed my order until I received it. Our drinks were slow in coming, and our soup and salad took a long time to come. The worst part was the wait for our dinner. I did complain to two different wait persons, the first said that the manager would talk to me. that did not happen. My server told me that the problem was, that they had received many or large orders to go and that the kitchen could not keep up. We were given two pieces of pie free, which were appreciated.

I love Shari's & I'm a long time patron. I've recently just moved to the area. I'm sad to say, but the Kelso location is terrible with Togo orders. We never have any problems when we stay to eat. Our last 4 Togo orders have been incorrect. They miss items, prepare them incorrectly or charge us incorrectly every single time we have ordered Togo. Shari's is my go to place to eat with the family. I don't know if we will ever order from them Togo again.

Our server, Melissa, was quite rude to us. She stopped refilling our water, and at one point actually told us, "you're over-sitting my table" -- not because there was a line waiting to be seated (far from it, that time of day on a Thursday), but because she wanted to cash out. I'm sorry if she had a long, hard shift, but we were childhood friends catching up after years of not seeing each other. She was clearly judging our ordering 3 mimosas (over 3 hours, mind you). All 3 of us are also servers, I'm a good tipper, and it takes a lot to get me to tip only 10% or less. Melissa's bad service managed to do it, though. This was not the friendly Shari's I remembered.

I went to mens room before I ate. The urinal is out of order. The room smelled strongly of urine. The floor apparently had been mopped dry but not clean. How damned hard is it to put a cleaner down before mopping? This was as bad as a Freeway rest stop! I did tell our server about the paper towels being empty. I counted 3 men working while we were there. ONE of them could clean that mens room floor. And, no I don't want the measely free food you are offering for this survey. Thank you.

At first we asked for the overhead fan above our table to be turned off. It was very cool and breezy. The server replied that it couldn't be turned off. The manager doesn't allow it because it circulates the air. We asked for the manager and the server ignored us. She could of offered another table and there were plenty open. As far as the food-- My wife's hash browns were not totally done, I ordered my eggs over easy and they were closer to hard, the chicken fried steak was over cooked with the breading hard like a cookie and dark.The gravy looked like it was yesterdays, lumpy and sparse, but the server said she saw her make it that morning. Then she ask me if I would like the cook to redo anything. No! What makes her think it would be any different. Don't know that we'll ever be back to this Shari's. It seems with Shari's increased prices this restaurant's quality has really tapered off. We've noticed this over the past few years.

I was greeted and seated when I walked in but it took quite a while to have a waitress come to get my order. Other patrons seated about the same time had already received their food before I had even placed my order.

I think that this was one of those off days for the waitress. She did not bring condiments as requested. No butter for biscuts that were cold by the time I went to the counter then waited to ask our waitress for butter. Finally our check came however was for another table and waited at the counter until I could flag the waitress down to receive the correct check.
