My waitress was in too many places at once. She was working two areas. My salad didn't arrive until just before my food and it took a while to even take my order. I thought I had been forgotten. She was very pleasant though and apologized for being late. Said she was in station change so had people in two areas to help. Also, the apron of another staff member was filthy. I had seen her put her apron on the bathroom floor while using the restroom and then serving food wearing it. Her apron was very dirty. I don't know her name but know what she looks like.

Management is lacking and server turnover seems to be constant. Our server Aly was very courteous and friendly but most of the staff were unfriendly and unknowledgable about how to treat customers. We will return hoping things will get straightened out

I had originally ordered ice tea but changed it to an Arnold Palmer before the waitress left the table. She delivered an ice tea and promptly caught the error so delivered a separate glass of lemonaid ... I guess it was a do it yourself correction. 😰 Later she delivered the wrong pie and had to take it back. 😕

When we arrived, there were no greeters and no one at the register. I finally noticed a server over at the far side of the restaurant and she was putting menus on a table and she indicated with her arm that we were to go to that table, which was right next to one of the coffee/dirty dish stations. This is not normal for Shari's. Someone has always taken us to our table before. I had asked for just tartar sauce - no cocktail sauce - when placing my order but the cocktail sauce came anyway. Maybe she didn't notice what the chef die. I immediately handed the wrong sauce back to her and asked for more tartar. It came several minutes later. I think it was interesting that at the end of the meal she came over asking about dessert, but had our bill ready to put on the table when we did not opt for pie. It also took several minutes for someone to come to the register when I was ready to pay. This was after one or more servers had gone home. An after thought is that we are in our 70's and looked at the menu options for the seniors, but found very few choices, opting for regular menu items, but you don't offer a discount or smaller portion options.

The take out meal -- left out the syrup, napkins etc, condiments for the hamburger, and the dinner salad which the waitress brought to the table and said that this should have been included with your take out items.

I could not get the attention of our waitress when we needed something. The cheese on my omelet was not melted.

Alicia did her best to see that my dietary needs were met. She displays a good example as to what every customer service representative should be and that creates a great dining experience at Shari's! Here is the problem she encountered with my service: I don't eat pork or chicken! Most of your soups are made from pork or have pork added. Pork in my book is unhealthy and as far as I am concerned chicken is right up there with it! I was raised on a farm, we slaughtered and prepared the animals we ate.

Bathrooms were not very clean and the soap dispenser was empty. I would have mentioned this but the staff was so busy that they were barly able to clear tables. Needed more staff for typically busy Saturday night.
