Shari's

Rice Pilaf was really weird. I think they used black raisens not cran-raisens and the rice was not cooked properly. It was almost like rice pudding! Yes, I ate it. Plus, I visited Shar's again tonight (celebrated my Birthday) and I ordered Steak, rice pilaf and veggies. The rice pilaf was made properly. I, am not upset, just brought it to their attention.

iwe had to ask our waitress for everything. i had to ask for my salad when she brought our meals. we had to ask for refills on our soft drinks. she did not come around as often as she should to ask if we needed anything. we had to wait too long for things.

We ordered a modified hamburger, and the order was not as we ordered. we orders a modified Tillamook Berger with grilled onions and mushrooms and garlic. we got a mushroom Berger with cheddar cheese and a regular hamburger bun, not a lot different - but it then had tomatoes and pickles - which we took off. It was good, and the servers are friendly, we will eat at this Shari's many more times in the years ahead.

I ordered the regular sirlion steak to go. But I asked instead of the onions rings and bread if I could have extra of either the rice or salad. The waitress said yes. Now, I am a senior and I sometimes order the sirloin off the senior menu this time I ordered off the regular menu. I think portion size of steak was the same and the rice portion the same and I had a small container of salad. I expected a much larger salad or added rice for choosing not to take the onion rings or the bread. I love Shari's and this will not keep me from coming back. Just saying..................

It wasn't experience, I thought the Marion berry pie was great tasting, but crust a little too thick

I really do not have any specific issues, I was very satisfied with my visit

Recent menu changes have removed our favorite dishes.

We do no live in area, have stopped there every so often on way north. We forgot our Sharis card. My husband gave our phone number and server at cash register was unable to record our credit. This has happened before. She said we were not registers. Have been able to use card in past elsewhere. Also the eggs Benedict (my husband and I shared it because it is filling), the Canadian bacon was a bit over cooked and there hardly was any sauce. This happened to me at the Portland airport area of Sharis several months ago, had about a tablespoon on sauce then, but I didn't mention it. The couple with us had a good breakfast. I see I have two cards, did ask someone long time ago to combine them, but we had neither with us. New help without assistance. Did not have a outgoing personality.

The restaurant wasn't highly occupied at the time, and it seemed like it took awhile for the couple ahead of me to be seated.... consequently it was a short while, but longer than usual before I was able to take my seat at the bar. A Shari's technical individual from out of town was there discussing upcoming concerns with the manager which I'm sure had some bearing on the added wait as his presence did disrupt the normal flow slightly.
