Shari's

I ordered the Tuscan Chicken Salad which I have had at other Shari's and have enjoyed. This salad had a creamy dressing instead of a vinegrette​. I asked if that was the right dressing and then showed the picture from the menu which does not have a creamy dressing. Also the cucumbers were small diced cucumbers not the normal size. So needless to say the salad was not what the menu showed, or what was described. And the taste was not what was expected. And no accommodation was made for the discrepancy. Like offering a new salad or not paying for a salad I didn't eat.

Took too long to receive our check, server did not come by and check our table, did not refill drinks, waited 20 mins just to get a to-go box and even longer for them to bring us our check.

I come in every week with my two girlfriends. We get ignored and forgotten about. Today's visit went very poorly. It took 15 minutes for our drink orders to be placed. Once our meal order was placed it took 30 min to get our good when it was mostly salads. The classic Caesar salad was only lettuce. The waitress and manager are not friendly with us. The manager had the night off and came in with her son. They were seated right way and their order was taken before another table got thier drink orders after being in the restaurant for 15 minutes. I am highly dissatisfied with the way we have been treated.

Server never returned to the table after food was dropped off, appeared to go on break, or left, as she nor anyone else ever came by. Finally waived down another younger male server and informed him the steak on the salad was tough and well cooked, rather than pink and medium rare. It took 15min for him to return with another full salad (only needed the meat) and by that time, my husband was already done with his meal. I had it boxed up to go, after an already long overall time. Manager never came to table, and we were expected to pay full price for the meal I never ate. Nothing to compensate other than a snide "sorry", and told we had to pay. Bad experience and won't return anytime soon.

No air conditioning

We walked in to this Sharislistens expecting great service we recieve at others. We were road weary tired. We were seated and our server just walks up after about 10/15 minutes doesn't speak a word, stares at us with disgust holding her pad and pen. We looked up we muttered awkward hellos to her. She just stood there and said what are you having. No hello, nothing! She did not smile. She walked away from our table and I stated this will be the 1st time in my whole adult life I will not leave a tip. She came back set our waters down and walked off. No words again.. the food came and my hash browns were greasy and undercooked,you toast was burned. I ate my sausage links and pushed my plate to the edge of the table. She came by and said I guess you're done and placed our bill on the table and walked off. There wasn't anything pleasant about this experience. I walked up to pay the bill and that lady didn't have much better people skills. It must be a locals only place. We were treated bad. I did not leave a tip our "waitress" that brought us the "food" her name was Terina.

For the reasons mentioned. Plus, server saw that I'd spilled coffee and didn't comeback to wipe it up. Waited so long for check at my table that I got up and stood by cash register. I stiffed the server on a tip.

This is the second time that I have been to Shari's and received cold food. Once we were seated it took 30 minutes to take our order and about as long to receive our food - we did not receive any refills on our drinks and I ordered stuffed hash browns that were so cold the cheese in the middle had not melted. The waitress was very busy, and so I did not feel I was able to send my food back and did not want to wait for another 30 minutes to get my plate back.

We were seated right away, and our server promptly took our order, but we waited over 40 minutes for our drinks, and only received those because I had to go ask a dishwasher/busboy to find our server and bring our drinks. The dishwasher brought the drinks a few minutes later. One person ordered an appetizer which was served another 10 minutes after the drinks, and I ordered a side salad which was served when everyone else was served their meals... another 15 minutes after the appetizer came out. Fortunately, the burger I asked for didn't come, as they had cooked the wrong burger, so I had time to eat my salad. One other order seemed to have been completely forgotten, and she and I didn't get our meals until everyone else was nearly done with their food. We had to ask for silverware and ketchup several times, and the only drink refills we got were when we got up again to request waters for the kids who had finished their drinks during the long wait for our food. When the last meals were brought to the table, I asked for the checks, and our server brought them over another 10 minutes later.

Waited thirty minutes just for our drink order. Four biscuits with only a table spoon of gravy, hash browns very slim portion, bacon extremely hard. Belgian waffle, only had four small dots of whipped cream that looked nothing like the picture in the menu. I've been coming to sharis for over thirty years and now would rather eat at McDonald's.
