After being seated, we got a pot of coffee almost immediately. But...it took more than 10 minutes to get cups! Food was good as usual, but our waitstaff never came back to check on our meal or bring us a check.

First, our server, Jenny, took about 15 minutes to come back with our drinks. (Two waters and a coffee) Then, she took a wrong order- took nearly 30 minutes for my husband's food to come. Manager came to apologize and gave us two cards for free pies. We were OK then until I went to pay, Jenny again took forever because she did not know what she was doing, and she overcharged us nearly $10. I'm still not sure why we still tipped her 20% for such low quality service. And, we "over paid" ($10) for our two (supposedly) free pies we haven't even redeemed yet. I don't know if we want to go back to Shari's anymore, especially one at Burnside in Gresham, Oregon. Additionally, the entire restaurant does NOT even have a changing table!!! This is so ridiculous! It's like the restaurant is indirectly telling their customers that if they have infants/toddlers, they are not welcomed there.

The staff were fine ..... Friendly and attentive. Restaurant overall was pleasant enough. When the waitress gave us our menus I asked what the soups were today .... When she mentioned Butternut squash we both said forget the menus we'll each take a bowl of that yummy SWEET soup. Upon arrival appearance was lovely , having ordered focaccia bread to go with it. ...... The first bite of soup was horrid ! Very metallic and bitter. Left an awful after taste. We both tried to be polite about it , but after a couple of bites I just couldn't handle it anymore. The waitress was very nice and quickly offered to substitute it for the tomato basil if we would like. That tasted better than the butternut , but still not good. We doctored it by adding some much needed sugar to kill the acid taste. It was edible. Will never order soup at Sharis again.

One Hostess said she'd return to take our order and we never saw her again. Also, there was no sugar at our Table . When I asked For Sugar A Hostess took ten minutes to Bring Sugar. By then, my coffee was tepid at best. Three Hostesses were playing peek-a-boo with a young boy. I had to get up and walk over to the wall leading to the bathroom where I found a hostess crouching down behind the wall playing peek-a-boo. I told her that we were ready to order. The three hostesses should have been tending to customers instead of playing a game of peek=a-boo.

Took awhile to be greeted and seated. Took 15 minutes to get my milkshake and then the waitress was snarky about it. Then I was told that the pie shakes were $2.00 more than a regular shake, but I was charged what the pie shake was listed for in the menu. When i pointed this out to the waitress, the snarky attitude came back. We can certainly find friendlier places to spend our money. We have been coming here for 20 years, but the new waitresses are just not doing it for us. They take too long for anything, they will bring you your food even if it is burnt and they will drop off the wrong order, then run off before you can stop them. No more for us!

The waitress spilt some soup on the plate which got onto the sandwich and she never realized it. This happened while she carried it to the table. She never came back to the table to ask how things were going, if everything was going good comma and never once asked us if we wanted a refill on our drinks. Right at the end she did bring a refill and dripped some on the table and didn't even wipe it up

Waitress was rude and very animated with her thoughts as in seems judgemental, there was no butter on pancakes and pitcher of coffee wasn't even full. And no soap in women's bathroom when asked she stated she hadn't any.

Something at this store has changed...number of servers, management??, store philosophy...don't know. We are greeted quickly but beyond that we wait. There seems to be not enough servers at all times. The servers are all running...literally all over trying to get their tables served. For a while after the grand reopening everything ran very efficiently but then gradually started getting slower and slower. If Shari's is cutting staff to save money, you will lose the clientele due to lack of efficiency. There are plenty of restaurants in the area to choose from as I'm sure you know. Just my .02 worth.

First, training of other team members was ongoing during our visit. Trainer was OVERLY friendly and very arrogant in her demeanor. After our meal completed, the team member being trained picked up our empty plates, so they knew that we were finished eating. Rather then either of the team members returning to ask about our free pie, they proceeded to have a 10 minute training sessions at the main counter, totally ignoring us waiting to make our pie order to go and receive our check. This was an awkward situation. Lastly, when we ate our pie at home last evening we were very disappointed. Both of our slices of pie (cherry and marionberry) were all crust and just a very little filling. Your pies used to be good, but no longer. Think we will find a new restaurant.

We go to Sharis every weekend, this time we were really hungry and stop at a different Sharis, the server Jenny didn't even say hi when she stop at our table, we ordered and food took to long to come out, it wasn't busy at all, she forgot my daughter drink and the food finally came out, she just dropped at our table say enjoy and walked away, we didn't have a change to ask for what we needed, later she walked by and we flagged her to ask for what we needed, my husband ask for napkins and a knife to cut his sandwich and she just dropped at the table and walked away, she never apologize for forgetting my daughters drink. We didn't enjoy our meals at all.
