Shari's

The fried shrimp were minuscule dried and cheap quality the cod filets were tiny greasy and smelly cheap I threw all the food in the trash after tasting it. The fries were cheap salty shoestring like McDonald's but worse. I used to come here for years about 5 years ago the food was fresh and quality was good. The quality of the food is what brings people back.

First off it took about 10 minutes for us and I be actually seated and there was not a single customer in the establishment, once we were seated our server Laura sat us down and proceeded to talk to her co worker in front of us about cocaine and other illegal substances, as soon as we sat down we finished our drinks and we never once got a refill during our entire visit, Laura and her co staff were yelling and messing around the entire time we were sitting eating, once our food was brought to us she never came back to check on us once. My overall experience at this sharies was truely horrific

My scrambled eggs were overcooked to the point they were brown. My slice of pie had no bottom crust. The hashbrowns were fine.

1. Not being checked on more, This is not the first time either. It happened a couple weeks earlier with my boyfriend. And with this visit especially after we were looking at what slice of pie we were going to get to take home, never came back to ask what we decided. 2. Didn't get check at all, I had to go up and ask to pay our bill after 20 min of total wait time 3. More importantly, a team member looked over and in my eyes, she could see I was upset and she finished with the one customer and then just ignored me, walking away from the area.

Ranch-Hand BBQ cheesberger had no BBQ sauce, Bavarian burger bun had no salt, no cheese, and was grease soaked on the bottom. Tots were fried in same fryer as fish, tasted as such (luckily I'm not allergic). Ordered a Vanilla malt, team member made a shake, and said there were no malts on menu. (It was her 4th day on the job) Ordered mozzarella app, she forgot it, apologized, and it came at the end of the meal undercooked. We arrived after a huge group was leaving, I understand things get hectic when slammed, but I've never had so many things wrong with an order at one time. We eat at this location with frequency, so I understand it was an off night, but it was WAY too off for the prices on the menu. Teammember was apologetic and nice, comped the soda and mozzarella app, which was nice. With certainty, my husband and I finish our meals when eating at Shari's, but this time we couldn't finish our food due to poor quality, fishy tasting tots, and undercooked appetizer that came after the meal.

I ordered a top sirloin steak and the portion was so small that it was dwarfed by the three onion rings and small portion of mashed potatoes that I received. My wife ordered the Cinna-sinsation platter, her eggs were under cooked, hash browns burned and the bread tasted stale. We wonder if you have a new cook on staff and when I decide to celebrate or want a "good steak" I will choose to go elsewhere. In the past we have been very satisfied, but if this is the new standard at Shari's we will be making other choices in the future.

I have been going to Shari's in Eugene for about 1 year now, both on W11th and River Rd. Always been good food and service. The waiter has been talking about the new steak breakfast so I decided to go in and try it. So I went to the one on W11th and it took for ever for the waitress to take my order. I said I wanted the t-bone steak breakfast. She said they don't have the steaks yet, but the table flyers have been on the menu for weeks now. So I said that's fine I will order the lunch trio and she went away and came back and said the soup was not ready. So I ask for more time and she went away. A little time later she came back and I order French toast with bacon limp(which is not over done) and when I got the food the french toast was soggy and the bacon was way over cooked like brittle. She never came back and gave us tea refills. When I went up to the front to pay the cashier she asks how was the food and I told her not good and she said so sorry maybe next time.

During our visit, the restaurant was unusually quiet. We could even hear the manager and kitchen staff talking and commenting on what a slow night it was, and how they wished every night was that slow. When we received our food, three of the four meals had SEVERELY overcooked items, and the fourth had undercooked/cold items. Our son's pancakes were so burnt and blackened that they couldn't even be cut, and we had to return them to be remade. Our daughter's mini corn dogs were overcooked to the point of being inedible, yet the mozerella sticks were cold and stale. The cheese on my wife's chicken BLT had been overcooked to the point that it was brittle and crumbling, and the condiments were left off. The ham on my eggs Benedict was cold and uncooked, and the English muffin was cold and soggy. If the kitchen was so slow that they could stand around and joke about it, there's absolutely no excuse for our food being so poorly prepared. We are long-time patrons and we chose to spend our hard-earned money at Shari's. We left feeling utterly cheated. With an experience this poor, it's likely to be quite some time before we return.

Wait time to be seated was about 15 minutes. Wait time for order was over 30 minutes. Drink was not made correctly. The food was served cold.

We there for an hour and 20 minutes, we waited 25 minutes to get sat then it took 45 minutes to receive our order. The food we got was gross, strawberry lemmonade was fermented, food was sopping with grease. Highly dissatisfied overall.
