Shari's

Think server was inexperienced. He spilled the soup on the saucer and apologized. Also spilled sauce on plate and I think he was unaware. He forgot to bring the roll....reminded him...and it came without butter. Also asked for jam to go with roll and he forgot this before reminder. He was pleasant, brought what I ordered when I brought it to his attention. I think his problem is lack of concentration on DETAILS. Meal was tasty, and the minor lacks didn't distract from meal enjoyment and won't prevent my return, for I enjoy going to this Shari's!

We were told about a 30 minute wait for a table (not a booth). This was the afternoon of Christmas day. At about 45 minutes we were offered a booth but still requested a table. At an hour we asked how much longer we would be expected to wait and were told that our name had been called, we hadn't responded and we were crossed off the list. We had been sitting about five feet from the register the entire time we were waiting and were DEFINITELY not called up. They assured us we would get the very next table which occurred about ten minutes later.

Oh my there is trash all over the parking lot! And looks like it's been there for some time, cars have been driving over it, and sprinkled clear into the entrance ! We asked the person at the cash register about what happened and she said the dishwasher is cleaning it when he has time, how can you have one person clean a parking lot and clean the dishes and vacuum the lobby , sorry but no thanks for free items

The groups in the booths on both sides of us were loud and crude.

I requested my burger be well done and when I received it, what seemed like awhile later, it was still bloody. So my husband had two choices, eat his food cold, when my food came back out or eat while I was waiting. They asked me how to resolve the problem, like recooking wasn't first option. I never send food back, but this burger was still mooing, come on. Then when I paid, the man that rang us up, not my waiter John, never asked how the meal was. The manager who was aware of the problem, never offered to compensate us for our time or frustration, especially considering I had a toddler that had to sit in this restaurant for an extra half hour or so. I expected free drinks at least, but no I wasn't even asked if I liked my food or service. Our waiter was fine, seemed over worked while the other waitresses seem to socialize more with each other. Also I might suggest- how about not giving nearly raw bacon to my son, he didn't touch his food at all- didn't look appealing at all, he was expecting it to look like the picture- sort of bear made or pancakes- um- you forgot the mouth completely. Won't be going back to this location. John= 7/10 West 11th restaurant= 3/10

My waffle was cold the butter would not melt Wait for the server to return then I started eating it and had it half gone before she retuned My husband bacon and eggs where less than warm They were busy but our food sat in window for at least 5 min I will return to Shari but not this location

Waiter delayed bring my Salad, therefore, by the time I was given my salad, my Steak was also given to me.

should not take 20 minutes to get a cup of coffee, even if they were one server short, have a manager and assistant seating at booth eating while 2 servers huslle something wrong with that picture

It was Fri about 630PM and store was busy. Slow to get seated. Very, very slow for wait staff. Forever to get food. Ordered Steak salad w/steak rare. It showed up unevenly cooked, parts medium well, some parts medium rare, none rare. Salad was good. Took forever to get bill, check out was slow due to mgt guy trying to seat new arrivals as well as accept payments from several customers waiting to pay. Store seemed under staffed for day and time and it was that way the last time i was in too. I won't go back there again.

Two people served. (1) had the salad and 1/2 BLT sandwich- Very good and tasty and worth the cost. (2) Serving of the New York strip was terrible. So tough you could hardly cut it. poor flavor-tasted like very old meat. Knife could barely cut it. Suffered Diarrhea when I got home (MSG? in the treatment or some other spice?). The items that came with the steak were fine, just the meat was BAD. Could not recommend that particular item on your menu to anyone. We generally like Shari's and eat there quite often after Eugene Symphony performances since you are open 24 hours (Good).
