We have been going to Shari's for at least ten years. I know the wages are low, but the cooks are really poor compared to other places like Denny's, etc.. The food has gone down in quality over the years, and the only good thing left seems to be the pies.

We have been coming to Shari's since its opening in our neighborhood. We have noticed that the quality seems to deteriorate a little each time. We were seated in the back near the kitchen. The wait staff were talking to each other loudly and checking the phones for Pokémon. I ordered the cobb salad and the hardboiled egg yolks were ringed in gray. (overcooked). The bread that came with it was tough and not the dinner roll I was expecting. It was placed on top of my salad with no place to put it while I dressed and cut my greens. My husband order the dip sandwich. The presentation was unappealing with no garnish or color on the plate. As we left, we commented to each other that while we had eaten here many times in the past, we would be looking for other restaurants which are quiet and the food is appetizing. While the restaurant is conveniently located near our home, it is better to drive further to another.

My complaint is with the menu and the current selection. They have taken away almost ALL OF THE SANDWICHES and do not have a lunch section. Usually I ordered the 1/2 sandwich with either a salad or soup. The server wasn't able to address my questions about the menu. The hamburger was over done and dry; the fries were cold!

Two Shari's gift cards I had previously purchased there had no dollar value and according to the cashier were never activated! I have emailed Debbie in Guest Relations to have these two $25 gift cards replaced!

In our party of three, one had a burger, and two had steak. One steak was so tough that it was ineadable. It was replaced with a single beaf pattie with no price reduction. No bread dinner rolls were provided as advertized in the menu. Very sloppy and unattentive service from Byanka. Overall, very under the normal service we have come to expect from Sharis.

Our Waiter #145035 Ferna-16 (from receipt) was not very attentive. I usually don't bring things like this up but we noticed that the 4 people seated in the booth next to us had 4-5 different people waiting on them (they all spoke Spanish-especially with our waiter). Our waiter finally brought our food to our table and it was not what I ordered. He took the plate to the back & 5 minutes later place the right food down & I noticed that we didn't bring me a dip for my ckn strips. Of course I couldn't get his attention because he (at this point) focused his attention to the booth across us & speaking Spanish). About 7 minutes later he comes over to our table & asked me if I wanted any dip for my ckn strips. I replied "I'd love some Ranch". Then we told him that I wanted to take my pie home but my guest wanted to eat his here and that we had a coupon for a cinnamon roll. He brought the pies over & I reminded him that we also wanted a cinnamon roll to go. He went to get it. This is the second time I've been to Shari's in less than a week and did not receive the attentiveness we deserved. I hope I don't need to take up Spanish to get good service from Shari's. This is how I'm feeling!

we've been to this location a few times and everything was going as I expected. my wife was about 1/3 way into her omlette and she found a short black curly hair. she lost her appetite and had to sit and stare at it while we waited to see our server who came out of the back 5 minutes later. we paid for everything but the omlette, even though I didn't finish my breakfast from loss of appetite also. we probably will never return to this location.

ordered prime rib medium rare, stressed it to the waiter and also prime rib stroganoff pasta, 2 of the highest priced items. prime rib came partly mostly medium well , and stroganoff came with chunks of prime rib meat that included unedible muscle and tendon. very disappointing. later overhead a different waitperson (woman, ours was a man) telling new customers right next to us, when they ordered prime rib medium rare, that sorry only medium to medium well 'tonight, if you want medium rare, order the steak instead."
