Very slow to be seated. Did not get drink refill without asking. Took over 10 minutes to pay our bill. Severely understaffed. Could have walked out without paying our $60 bill. Other patrons walked out as they had been waiting for a long time to be seated. We are not used to this type of service from this Sharis. This is extremely disappointing to us. Talked to the manager, he said how understaffed they are. Worst customer experience ever at this Shari’s.

We were charged for 2 standard sharis breakfasts. We ordered 2 poached eggs and english muffins for 2. We did not order any meat or hashbrowns. yet we ended up paying for them. The manager did not even pretend to want to make things right for us. We have been going to this Sharis for over 20 years and will now think twice before going again, especially for breakfast. We felt he was rude and customer service skills were lacking.

Samantha, our server had an ugly attitude. She smashed our drinks and food on the table and left. NEVER checked back if we need something. When we had enough, we asked for the check and boxes to take our food, which took more than 10 mins and when there are barely 5-6 customers present at the restaurant and she isnt attending any of them (because other servers were) she Completely ignored the fact i needed something or was trying to call her. Even after she made eye contacts with us (3 times). Oh yeah, asked for banana split "to go" and they had no containers so she said "I cant put it in anything, So no?" Like who are you to decide what Am I going to eat or not???

We came in to dine rather late there was one person ahead of us WAITING to be seated, he had been there 10 minutes w/o acknowledgement. I asked as waiter if we could be helped and I realize he was running around and extremely busy and said he would be with us in a few minutes. I could see likely the host just engaged in casual talk never ever looking towards the entrance to notice there were people waiting and trying to aid his team. I hold that person responsible for not even noticing or helping period. He was doing the same thing when he left while the servers were doing their best. Not cool.

We ordered 2 meximelts the hash browns were soggy and over cooked to a burnt finish the sausage was undercooked and the cheese on top was cold

I usually like to go to sharis. But this experience was the worst. First, we were sitting for a long time before our waitress came. Second, our waitress didn't welcome us, she sounded like she was not having a good day. And that we are not guilty. And last but not least my food came after my kids were done eating.

It is understandable that there was a wait to get seated. What was concerning was seeing other people receive their orders before us and us having to ask the status of our order instead of being checked upon. Then when our own order finally arrived, the prime rib was overcooked and the pancakes and toast were burnt. The server let the manager know (Linda DeWitt) and she came to our table to ask about the problem. We informed her and she offered to redo the meat. We told her we didnt have time to wait for another order since we waited so long already. She then said she'd take the meal off our ticket. When we received our bill, she only took a portion of that meal price offf instead. When we questioned her, her reply was "you kept eating." Was I supposed to not eat the meal at all while my family ate around me? So your restaurant messes up my food, took too long, and then you lie to me at my table. What kind of service is this? Unfortunately, i didnt have time to argue. But i expect something to be done about this. That was horrible customer service and i'll share it with my family and friends. It was very insulting and unacceptable

Stale crackers and croutons. All five people in party agreed. We asked to be moved out of a cold and dark room. First 2 People got there, then me, the 2 more. Never got more than 3 menus. Had to ask for drinks, never came back for drink service. Had to ask for bread that went with my meal. We had service for 3 different ladies.

My 94 year old Aunt and I went to the nearby Shari's for breakfast. We were greeted and seated quickly, but waited for coffee. My Aunt ordered decaf, which was lukewarm. I had to ask the young man who seated us for a new pot, as our waitress had not appeared yet. We were seated directly before another family of 5, and they received all their food at least 10 minutes before the 2 of us. I asked the waitress why we waited so long for our food, and she told me "oh, I thought they came in before you and had been waiting, so I put a rush on their order." I told her no, that is not what happened, and she really should not have told me that, as a customer I felt discriminated against (yes, I am white!). All customers should be treated equally, with equal service and expectation of good, efficient service. Also, I ordered the BMP omelet, and she brought the BMP quiche. I said I had ordered the omelet, but she said, "oh, you were pointing to the quiche on the menu". REALLY?? What happened to asking the customer for clarification, or reading the order back before leaving the table? She took no discount off my order, not even comping the coffee! I don't even have room to finish!

The steak I ordered as medium rare came out with part of the outside pink still and cold in the middle. When we asked for celery for my daughters wings it came out old and literally slimy on the ends plus brown. It took forever to even take our order and when we ordered the apple pie Al a jar at the end the pie wasn't even warm. This restaurant has gone down hill remarkably in the last year we've been coming here and we won't be back.
