Took to long to be greeted

At 10:15 p.m. on 3 January 2017, I walked into Shari's to find no one in line. As I stood by the sign that says, "Please Wait for a Table," the night manager walked up to the cash register four feet from the sign. He was carrying a cash drawer. He then got behind the cash register and began counting the money -- looking right through me, never saying anything such as, "Good Evening" or "Please wait a second!" In other words, he never acknowledged my presence! I thought of walking out, but knew it would be difficult to find another open restaurant at that hour. At least 3 other waiters saw me, but none said anything to me. Finally, after two minutes of silent treatment, I asked, "Does anybody talk to the customers here?" I addressed my remark to Ms. Krystal, a waitress who was cleaning tables 15 feet from me. As she took me to my table, she glanced at the night manager, who remained silent. Krystal then provided the fine service for which Shari's is known for. I gave her a good tip. I'm not complaining about her or the other busy waiters who didn't greet me. But the night MGR was rude in not even saying, "Hi." Perhaps he should count the money in a back room?

The service was good except for the large manager who stood blankly staring at us, did not great us or try to assist us, then walked away to let one of the hostesses help. I found it rude and don't understand how he got to where he is by just standing there

Our server Hamzah was extremely helpful recommending dinner items for my parents and me. He gave us his honest opinion about the size and quality of the steaks, and in the end made our meals enjoyable. Very delightful young man!

The link sausages are usually plump and juicy and fresh. These were shrunken, over cooked and not at all what I usually enjoy at Shari's

Delay in seating although restaurant was not full. Order was not completed accurately although it was corrected when I brought it to the waitress attention.
