You had a large advertisement on the table for a "NEW" black forest pie, but when I ordered one they said "we don't have them in yet". NOT GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICE!!

There was nothing special about the service. The guy at the next table had a sneezing fit that really bothered my wife. The pie was good. Will probably come back for pie.

My response of "Satisfied" and not "Highly Satisfied" for the Shari's experience question had nothing to do with our server. She was fabulous! She was very knowledgeable about the menu, and prompt and attentive about serving and checking upon our table. What I liked the most about her was that she had an easy sense of humor and that made her relatable to us. I put satisfied with our experience because when I went to pay, I saw behind the cash register an old piece of bread on the floor and it was covered in either mold or dust (I couldn't tell from where I was standing). To me, that forgotten piece of bread reflects the collective attitude of the restaurant. Care would have noticed and picked up the bread and then swept after, and it's every Shari's member's responsibility to care (from owner to employee). The care factor makes the greatest difference in customer experience. Anything less is just (sadly) expected. And what's with the "attractiveness of the server" question on this questionnaire? I don't rate people like that. If my server is smart and sweet as pie, then they get high marks from me.

Server was friend and helpful, but looked swamped. Flies in restaurant were off putting, but food was good and service was good; although understandably a longer wait.

this the second time in two weeks that I ordered the prime rib special and it has not been right yet. Last week, they took it back and it came cold. I just took it home. I order medium rare and it comes way over medium rare.
