Shari's

The new make-over looks nice but makes for a noisy experience. Prices went up but quantity went down. Service was very very poor.

Had a meal, ordered drinks and qualified for paper coupon $4.80 for cost of one meal. Instead, they just deducted $4.80 from total check. Now the way I have experienced prior Shari's coupons. They assured me that it was the only way the computer read the coupon. I would not have ordered a drink if that had been the case. I am unhappy about this experience, but the service, etc.,was very good.

(1) We were put on a waiting list to be seated and then a new wait staff person took someone that just walked in the door and seated them first. (2) The prices for what you get have gone up astronomically. The green salads were little of nothing...I mean, really, is lettuce that expensive? The half turkey sandwich came dry with one slice of turkey on a small piece of bread. Very poor value for the money. (3) The tater tots were greasy tasting.

we waited 10 minutes to be seated in a less than full resturant,waited 10 minutes for drinks ,we were seated 30 minutes before Our food was served

The sirloin steak dinner was very over priced for a little piece of meat a baked potato and two onion rings it would have been nice at the price to include soup or salad and a serving of vegetables to give the meal some perceived value. Everyone of the steak and prime rib dinners are the same and we will never order them again and will tell others not to. Way over priced for what you get. Many other local restaurants locally offer the same meal with above mentioned items for the same price.

We waited quiet a while to be seated & since this Shari's #168 in Milwaukie, Or, did not appear busy, I finally asked if we could seat ourselves instead of standing there waiting. Finally she acknowledged us & we were seated. We both order Senior breakfasts. I had $10 gift card from Gladstone, Or Senior Center for volunteering and left it with my debit card on our table while I went to restroom. Thyra told us to do so, she would take my payment. I did not look at bill and stupidly paid full amount of $16.28 plus $3.00 tip. When I got home, saw the amount, called my bank & amount already posted. Called Sheri's, got Thyra, she said amount was correct as $10 already taken off. I said "no" & told her what we ordered. She put me on hold and then Manager, Tamara?) got on phone, not friendly. She couldn't credit my card, couldn't find my gift card, did I want to pick up card from there? No, she decided she could send me a "Be My Guest" card for $10. WAY TOO MUCH TROUBLE!! Manager even asked me at first if gift card was yellow so she must have seen it so why tell me she couldn't find it? So, am waiting for new gift card. But I wouldn't go there. Fran Fieger.

You put on my card a short stack of pancakes. They were under cooked, & really doughy. I am glad that I didn't have to pay for them because -- 2 pancakes (under cooked) for $6.29 is an outrageous price. I have always wanted to try your pancakes, but will NEVER have them again. Please note I have always been happy with Shari's food and have never given a bad review before. It surely was a disappointment this time. The rest of the food was OK but was slightly cooler than normal. Thank you for letting me vent.

Alfredo- taste wasn't good, mushrooms were horrible, chicken was tough Nacho- pork was cold, cheese wasn't melted in the middle part.

James-our waiter. Paid zero attention to us. One guy at counter upon entry working his tail off, James too busy checking phone, brought cold gravy, burnt food, no water/soda/food check, took ketchup/mustard away with no inquiry of we were done. Dropped off dessert menu and tab, never stopped back to see if we wanted dessert/ coffee etc. fish/ chips was not as described- but we never even had a chance to ask because we never saw our waiter after food drop off. Ps- he was not loaded with tables, I believe he had 3 including us. More interested in texting on his phone.

Overcooked food. Long wait time to get my food Wasn't busy. Didn't feel they acknowledged the problem and shrugged it off.
