Food sat on the pass too long, fries were not hot and club house is made with plain wite bread and makes it too small for the price. 2 tables next to us sat un-bused the whole time we were there. Staff were pleasant however and the remodel is nice

I ordered off the seniors'' menu. The egg was cold and the bacon war hard and cold. While the wait person was sympathetic, there was no offer to remedy the problem.

The waitress never checked on our water or drinks, when they were empty, we had to ask for refills. I had to go to the front cash register to let them know we were ready and waiting for them to take our order. They were out of all the soups, so my wife had to order a salad. She wanted to order the half a sandwich with soup combo! The food took over 25 minutes to arrive at our table, and it wasn't even busy. We arrived about 11:15pm, late Sunday night. We will not be dining at this Milwaukie Shari's location ever again! The service is much better at the Oregon City Shari's restaurant.

ORDERED LUNCH SPECIAL WITH A CHOSE OF TWO AND A PIECE OF PIE. PARTNER AND I ORDERED SAME SANDWICH BUT ON DIFFERENT BREADS. THEY MADE ONE SANDWICH AND CUT IT INTO SO WE BOTH HAD HALF WITH SAME BREAD. I CAN NOT EAT GRAIN BRAIN SO ORDERED SOUR DOUGH. PARTNER GOT SOUR DOUGH ALSO (HALF OF MY CHOSE ) AND NOT EVENLY SLICED. MY SOUP WAS LUKE WARM SO HAD TO SEND IT BACK. ASK FOR SEPARATE CHECKS AND WAS TOLD THEY COULD NOT DO IT THAT WAY (WAITER WAS NEW) MANAGER SPOKE TO HIM ABOUT IT. THE WORST OF IT ALL WAS THAT IT WAS SO COLD IN THE RESTAURANT. COMPLAINED BUT WAS TOLD THEY HAD NO CONTROL OF THE AIR CONDITIONER. LIKE EATING IN A REFRIGERATOR. WILL NOT GO THERE AGAIN UNTIL AIR IS OFF OR DOWN TO A COMFORTABLE LEVEL. SAW SEVERAL PEOPLE LEAVE.

Drinks not served right away. Waited way too long to get served, about 20 minutes. Ordered drink never came. Server never checked back with us as to if we wanted to order more. No care attitude & not friendly. One of me guests had to go and ask if we could at least get our coffee & tea.

The sole waiter was working very hard to serve all of the 10 to 12 stations that were occupied. The manager, however, spent nearly 10 minutes talking to a pair of customers when we came in and for several minutes after. While we were there, he did absolutely nothing to assist his solitary server and seemed completely over his head as he attempted to check us out when we left, fumbling with the previous customers' paperwork before he could get to us. You need to staff this establishment better in order to get us to return (The one in Oregon City is run much better), and you either need to train this manager, or find someone better qualified.

Love the remodel at the Milwaukie location. Both of our entrees stayed under the heat lamp to long. Food tasted okay, but was old. Waitress was very busy tending front, bring back a hostess. When asked to turn down the overhead fan (we aren't elderly), we were told that they can't control the temperature or the fans. This is unacceptable, how can people be happy if you can't make the occasional adjustment. Other people were cold as well. The waitress was very nice, but our food was delivered old. We are grateful for the adjustment on the bill, but Shari's isn't a place that should have to "comp" for heat lamp old food because there's no hostess to take care of the front end. Totally unsat for the coldness of the restaurant.

1. Manager was unable to handle flow of patrons leaving and arriving and did not seek assistance. Then he spent inordinate of time flirting with 3 young ladies, sitting with them while rest of staff was attempting to deal with patrons. 2. Floor was woefully understaffed. 3. Rotten fruit was served with my wife's meal. Kitchen staff was not paying attention or again an issue of under staffing. Waitress took care of it when brought to her attention. However, that fruit should never have left the kitchen. 4. Milk shake unit placed at the front counter is a huge mistake. It is noisy, distracting and annoying to listen to. It sounds like a an old truck engine ready to explode. That is an absolutely atrocious decision. Those units should be out of the front area. 5. Milk shake "pitchers" were not rinsed or cleaned between prepping new shakes. Very sad to watch this and a good reason not order a milk shake, free or otherwise. 6. Staff appeared to be functioning in a bit of a daze. What's going on here? I've eaten at Shari's since the 70's and understand you've gone through changes. This present situation is beyond sad.

As highlighted in the other questions, the service was very, very slow -- both in taking our order and in getting the food out to us. To make the wait even more challenging, it was very, very cold in the restaurant. While our family was obviously cold (and those at the next table went back to their car to bring in coats), our waitress did not say anything about this. As well, another staff member (perhaps the manager) helped clear our table, and he said nothing either. An offer to adjust the thermostat or explain why they could not would have been appreciated.

During our visit to Shari's for my Father in Laws 80th Birthday, there was apparently only one cook there for the night, at the time of our visit, there were probably close to 30 guests in your restaurant, (although I saw two couples leave before they ordered, the wait was pretty long to order) It seemed fairly disorganized for a restaurant, the wait staff tried, but we had one taking the drink order, another taking the food order, and yet another checking if we had our drinks yet, the result of that was that when our food finally came out, the waiter did not know who to give the food to, and since a couple were similar, the food had to be disassembled to figure out who had the correct food, (and the fries were not on the correct plate) My food was cold when it was placed before me, my brother in laws burger was overcooked, my Father in laws food came out slow and in 3 different servings. Overall, I know that they tried, I still tipped 15%, but the experience was definitely not what we were hoping for, Don't like to complain, but we definitely felt that it was not money well spent, given the experience we had. The pie that we brought home was excellent though. :)
