The restaurant was filthy. There were fingerprints on all the windows, mirrors and chrome finishes. The silverware was spotted. The hot chocolate was half filled. We were not offered refills. The pie appearance was terrible. The cream pies were smashed and had cherry filling smeared on the plates. The server was not friendly and acted like we were a nuisance. All the servers and dmo’s had wrinkled, untucked shirts or an otherwise unprofessional appearance.

the mashed potatoes were barely warm. asked for water and never received.Pot roast was excessively fatty

The waitress did an excellent job, and the food was good except that the 'over medium' egg turned out as hard as a hard boiled egg. When I paid the check the cashier was unfriendly and would not say anything, like maybe "thanks for eating at Sharis" or something similar and when I said "thank you" to her I was met with dead silence. This was the same woman who waited on us last time we were here and told us she couldn't serve me an honored citizen 'Mexiskillet' because they "were out of ingredients." I asked her if they could substitute ingredients in order to put together a small egg skillet for me. She said they could not do this and so I had to order the full-size omelet breakfast, which was more expensive and more than I could eat. We were pretty put off by this, since I found it unlikely they could be that "out of ingredients." Also, the sourdough toast was terrible, inedible to us. It tasted lousy to begin with and then was slathered with a rancid margarine spread instead of coming with little pats of butter to put on them, which we are accustomed to. It looks like quality is coming down and we may not eat at Shari's again. Especially dislike the surly cashier.

she took way to long couldnt remember why were there. stood at counter for over 10 min and didnt evenacknowledge i was there. finally whe she did acknowledge i was she nust dismissed me

It took our server a half an hour to take our drink order and then it took her another half an hour to take our dinner orders. And she wasn't very nice to us. The service was horrible and our server was a little sassy to us.

The bake potato was small and the toast was small and the ends of the loaf. Didn't look like the picture in the menu. I asked for more super never got it. Had to ask for ketsup for my onion rings . I still never figured out who our waitress was all three of them we had to ask for service. When I complained about the very size of my potato they did bring me another one.

I hadn't been to this Sharis (closest to my home) in many months due to inconsistent and somewhat rude staff. I received a $5 coupon and decided to give it another try. I was pleasantly surprised with the friendliness & attention of my server and the food quality & presentation (except for cold over buttered toast) was a definite improvement. I use the app to obtain a short code and unfortunately the mgmt staff was unfamiliar with how to apply the code. If she had said I don't know about a short code but I will learn by your next visit I would have been satisfied but instead it was as if your app does and short code do not exist at that store. A frustrating and unsatisfying experience.

Customer service at this restuarant was extremely poor. Wait staff did not check to see if we needed anything. Had to stare down the staff to get attention.

I ordered the cannoli and have had it at various other Sharis. The cannoli was pretty awful at this location. Maybe each cook has their own way, but here are my issues: 1. Virtually NO cream cheese filling. It was 'wiped' on very thin. It was like eating pancakes and nothing more; 2. Everything was waaaaay too sweet. Without the slight tartness of the cream cheese filling this was just awful! 3. The 'pancakes' were Luke ordinary pancakes and less like a blintze or crepe, which is what should be expected. 4. At each Sharis I've asked if there's any way to make the cream cheese filling less sweet, and I'm told 'no', that the mix is pre-made. While this is not an issue specific to this Sharis, please consider offering a much less sweet cannoli option. Cannoli is not a dessert confection unless you put it in your dessert section. Please change the recipe or offer a less-sweet option. And train the cook here on how to make a 'stuffed' (not 'smeared') cannoli!

The hostess was not with the program like she was not there. She asked how many and my wife said two and we would like to set on the left side as there was a table booth. There was another costumer she took to be seated and our mouths fell open as we could not believe her. Finally after 10-12 minutes of waiting I asked another waitress if she could seat us. She said the hostess would be back to seat us. My comment was I sure hope so. I thought about leaving. Finally she seat us. Yes it was busy but there was no excuse to wait as long as we did. When I paid for our dinner I thought I was suppose to get the 10% discount that Shari's advertised. I asked the hostess again why I did not get the 10% discount and she just said it was not on the computer and I said why did the other customer get it and I did not. Again computer said. She needs to be taught to be attentive, know what she doing and have customer skills. She needs help in my book. James Duncan 503-659-1173
