Since this Shari's remodeled things have gone down hill:the menu format has changed and not for the better,the prices have gone UP!, many times there seem to be less staff and therefore slow service and lots of wait time, a number of times the soup is cold!!. The new staff is just not the same!!

I was very satisfied.

We were with a group of 12 & it was difficult to be seated together even though we call ahead

The place was not busy. Although we were greeted amiably by the tall middle eastern man (name started with an R - four letters I think) and seated promptly, it took awhile for the server to get to us. He began taking our drink order so maybe the female server thought HE was going to take our order? (We came in for the 'free' shake with burger, so it was nice of him to begin the order, which may have confused the waitress? During our seating we had to ATTEMPT to flag someone down repeatedly to get a straw, while they huddled across the room to apparently discuss something (?), ignoring (or not seeing) our "yoo hoos". I finally rose and went to the counter wherein the nice manager saw me and supplied my need. At the check out, the server overcharged me (my bill was 20.78 and I was charged 25.XX) so I had to bring that to her attention (!) wherein she had to void the sale and recharge my visa. Again, the place was NOT busy. I could understand the lack of attention if it were, but it wasn't Perhaps this was a "one off" situation, but you wanted the honest report.

the restaurant was just remodeled and somebody did an unsatisfactory job with the air conditioning. the cold air blows down directly onto the booths and makes it quite uncomfortably cold while dining.

I never said I was not highly satisfied.

It took a bit long for a host to seat us when there were plenty of empty, clean tables. They seemed a bit unorganized though friendly. The Summer Berry Chicken Salad my wife ordered was full of bleu cheese crumbles. I'm not sure if it said bleu cheese on the menu so I am accepting partial responsibility for this oversight (not the restaurant's fault). Next time we will have them HOLD the bleu cheese. She couldn't eat the salad portion, just the chicken.

Highly CV satisfied

The greeter who seated us did not say anything and threw our menus on the table. She seemed distracted, boarding on rude.

The staff is working under difficulty, because the much needed remodeling has been shoved into the future, causing some anxiety.
