I come for the comfort foods, and the variety. The food is truly marginal at best, but it IS a change of pace. Variety = spice of life.

Cookout is a good place for cheap fast food. The fries are almost always fresh, and for the price, it's a pretty good deal.

When you get a platter and get 2 of the same side, double seems like it should look like twice as much. At cookout, double seems like everyone else's single. Makes you think the focus is on how to be cheap, not how to be a value.
