Slow service

Very polite and helpful staff

Kids were getting antsy waiting for drinks and food. Also we had to chase down the waitress for our check and we really needed to go and get the kids home. Other than that, food was good, and shakes were yummy (but they take forever too) :(

Neat atmosphere and good deals. Food is pretty good. Service is slow and it always takes SO long to get drink refills or the check. Paying at the counter takes forever.

The wait was really long. It was almost an hour. The food was okay and the shake was delicious.

We waited over 10 minutes to even see a waitress after we were seated. She got our drinks and took our order and brought out our food over 30 minutes laters. The fries were cold, the burger was ok. While we were still eating she asked one time if we needed anything else and brought my boyfriend another drink. I guess she took that as we were done because she walked by, laid the ticket down without saying a word and walked away and we never saw her again. We had wanted to order milkshakes after our food but she never even gave us the opportunity and after 10 minutes of waiting for SOMEONE who worked there to walk by and no one did, we said forget it. Since everything was taking forever we had plenty of time to look around and realize the same thing was going on at every other table. The prices are great, but it is not worth the poor service to eat here. The food was ok, the service was terrible. I will not be back to Steak n Shake in Rockwall, TX any time soon.

The food was good an out waitress was good but the cook complained about having to remake my burger and called me a few names.
