After we were seated it took our waiter 10 minutes to come over (but was at the table next to us several times) and after about 5 minutes of that waiting the hostess who stat us offered to get our drinks. We ordered and asked for the sauce that came on our tavern burger on the side. Brought our food and quickly left. Had to flag him down and let him know there was no sauce on the side and he proceeded to check our plates out and said there's no sauce on the side? And stood there until i said I would like my sauce on the side, you know a little cup of sauce. Then he sent the same hostess who got our water with more fries and the sauce and shortly after that he came with our check without asking if we needed anything else. I had to request more bottomless fries. The whole time we had no napkins or our waters filled. We could see him in the kitchen area when he left our table just hanging out messing around. I understand when things are busy but we felt pretty neglected and were bothered more when he was just chilling in the kitchen or continually being seen at other tables. And I would like to clarify we were nice the whole time and I just hoped I would be able to do a survey

We visited the Red Robin at The District in West Jordan, and it was not a very good visit. Everything would have been fine if our server would've just done things a little differently. Kyler was our server, and when he took all of our orders I noticed he didn't write anything down and tried to do it all from memory. Most of everyone's food came out completely wrong, and even one of us didn't have their meal ready because he forgot to put it in. I would've given him the benefit of the doubt and shrugged it off as a kitchen error, but at the very beginning he got my sister-in-law's drink wrong which was simple but he didn't write anything down of course so he forgot. We also had a small problem with the accuracy of the bill, it was settled but hesitantly by the manager. I hardly ever complain about service when I go out to eat because I was a server myself before, but all I'm really saying is that Kyler needs to write everything down to get it right the first time.
