Steak 'n Shake

Good food and service but they were stingy with the chicken strips

Not to fun of the Philly cheese stakes

Just looking for a good time and good food

i love Steak 'n Shake but this is 1st time in 4 years that i dont like the service.

The service was very slow.

Speed of service was rather slow, but the server comped our cottage cheese, which was a nice guesture. Always a great value! The server was exceptionally nice and apologetic for our wait.

It's normally good , but previously I was unimpressed

Our server was horrible. My friend specifically requested that her fries be nice n hot, so he left her order up on the counter for 5 mins while fixing drinks for another table. When she finally got them and they were lukewarm, our ketchup bottle on our table was empty, so she asked for more. Instead of taking a bottle off of one of the empty tables and just giving it to her right away, he takes the empty bottle in the back and spends another 5 mins refilling it!!! We were so irritated that she jumped up herself, walked across the restaurant and grabbed one from an empty table! When he comes back, instead of apologizing, he actually took the bottle she just grabbed and put it BACK on the empty table!! This kid really needs to learn how to be a good waiter and how to properly prioritize.
