Dreams - Stoke on Trent

Vicki was very knowledgeable about the mattresses I was looking at and explained the best mattress for my back and the best type of bed base. Really friendly and no pushy sales nonsense that you experience elsewhere which made for a relaxed shopping experience and made me more inclined to buy.

Found what we wanted with assistance from Vicki and were given time and sensitivity to make decision.

The assistant was very helpful, we were invited to have a cup of coffee on arrival and after hearing what we wanted she directed us to where we might find the mattress that suited us. She was not pushy, and explained the different types that might suit us best. When we had made up our mind she was efficient in taking our order and organising a delivery date that suited us. Our overall impression of the store was good (this was our first visit to the store) Vicki was very helpful and efficient.

When I arrived at the store, I was able to have a look round first then the assistant asked me did I need any help? I did and she spent all the time she had with me explaining things and the products. Placed the order and was able to choose a delivery date.

We visited our nearest Dreams store (Etruria Stoke On Trent) for little more than a walk around and to peruse the range of mattress's. We have visited several other retailers including John Lewis which was actually 50 miles away in our search for a new mattress. We had a pre-conception that Dreams was going to be hideously expensive and went just to compare with what we had already seen. How surprised we were, we found exactly what we were looking for with the assistance of saleswoman Sue who had a great product knowledge and the price was actually lower than we had seen for similar elsewhere! What was meant to be nothing more than a quick walk around turned out to be time well spent, fantastic product with delivery within a week, if only we had visited here first-brilliant!

The assistant understood exactly what we wanted showed us lots of different beds mattresses etc, explained which one was the best, she certainly knew her job very well

Sue and Stuart couldn't do enough for me during my visits to the store. Unfortunately my delivery date couldn't be met but Stuart offered a temporary mattress until the bed can be delivered. This made me feel cared for and showed how staff will go the extra mile.

I was assisted by Sue throughout who provided all relevant information for me to make a decision in my purchase.

When I entered the store the assistant on the shop floor was helping a customer. Whilst there another assistant walked through the store with her coat on as she was leaving for the day. When she noticed that we were in the shop she approached us and asked if we would like help. I said that I did not want to delay her as she was obviously on her way home. She insisted that she would love to help and spent a considerable amount of time helping us decide on our purchase and placing the order. The assistant was most helpful and was delayed leaving for home for a considerable amount of time. I feel that many other retail outlets could learn a lesson in good customer service that was provided by the staff at dreams in stoke on trent(basford)

I was retuning two pillows I had previously bought which we found unsuitable and exchanged them for different products the person that dealt with me was called Stuart Brickley he was very helpful and charming
