The bed I wanted couldn't be delivered for 6 weeks so I had to buy a different bed. The cost of removal of my existing bed was far too high. It made me realise why so many people just dump their matresses. I am not the sort of person to dump my bed/matress and I feel I have been penaloised for being decent. Also as a woman living alone it is very hard for me to dismantle my existing bed frame and therefore I need to spend a further amount to pay someone to do it for me. Again as a pensioner, on a limited fixed income this is unacceptable.
