I was mainly satisfied, but had to wait nearly 2 weeks for delivery. On the delivery day I booked the day off work got up early to washed all bedding, and also organised disposal of existing mattresses. No one called before 10:30am to arrange the delivery slot, so I called the local store 6 times over the next hour leaving messages twice but got no reply. I phoned head office but got diverted to the Ilford store with no answer and 'mailbox full' I called the new orders line and was told that my order had been delivered, which it had not. James was very helpful and after contacting the local store manager organised anew delivery day 8 days later where I will need another day off work and re arrange mattress disposal. So not impressed !!! Hopefully they will be delivered on or before the new appointment in 8 days time...

Having visited two different Dreams stores whilst looking for a mattress for my 4 year old boy where I received excellent service from knowledgeable staff, I took my wife to the Ilford store as it is closest to our house (having previously been to Lakeside and Beckton stores). What a mistake. I had printed a short list of mattresses from the website but only two were in store. The assistant was massively unhelpful and his colleagues sat behind computers and tutted that I had selected old mattresses that were no longer available. The alternative options in the store were not even slightly similar to the mattresses I had asked to see and were at a significantly different price point. Despite the poor service we purchased a mattress for my boy (as he is currently being treated for kidney cancer and struggling with his sleep) and weren't even offered a hand to the car despite having two children with us!

When I entered the shop, Ayesha was busy on a personal phone call (I know this as she was speaking in urdu). She saw me standing around and asked if I needed help. I replied by saying whenever you're ready. She continued with her phone call. When she finally got off the phone, she asked what I needed. I explained that I wanted to exchange mattress, she advised that she didn't know what to do so I should wait for her colleague to come and help. When he came (I don't know his name but he was quite helpful and friendly), I was able to put the exchange forward. While we were filling out the form, ayesha felt that this was a good time to start eating an apple. To summarise, she was unfriendly, quite useless, unprofessional and a stain on the fabric that is dreams. I've visited dreams three times recently and I encountered helpful staff, namely syed in Ilford and alif in beckton. Ayesha makes me wish you'd rename your store nightmare.
