The sales lady did not ask us what our budget was, yet she showed us very expensive mattresses. When we found a much cheaper - by £1000 - mattress on the shop floor we wanted to buy she briefly tried to talk us out of it, saying it wouldn't last as long and only had 6000 springs. She was obviously less friendly once we had decided on a cheap mattress.

Computer problem resulted in a considerable delay Sales assistant phoned hq twice & the problem could not be resolved Your system was poor & incapable of accepting a different delivery address & an invoiceing address, we are awaiting a correct invoice due in 7 days in post. Sales lady tried hard for 30 minutes to solve the problem, not her fault I was surprised that a company of you size had such a poor system. The problem needs to be addressed asap

When entering the store, there were 4 assistants chatting in the middle with no interest in offering assistance. I had to approach them to seek assistance as they were too busy chatting. The store was quite busy but no staff were with customers.

I was not dis-satisfied. However, I would prefer to wait for the delivery to be completed before coming to a conclusion about your organisation and its products.

You advertise on TV that you have a sale on until August Bank Holiday Monday throughout the store. The Assistant told us it applied to everything except the bed (Tempur) we wanted! We feel that if we had shopped around we would have got a better discount. Also you should state in your advert on TV that there is no discount on Tempur. This is misleading to people who see your adverts on TV.

Overall, we found the staff didn't really care. I heard them arguing among themselves as I was trying out a bed nearby the desks and they were arguing about shutting the door because it was cold. If I was near a customer that's the last thing I would be doing - it was unprofessional and they clearly weren't paying any attention to us in store! Then I heard her say, have you 'done these two yet' assuming they were referring to the generic description they give to new customers of the store of the colour coded beds (which we did find helpful) but it was the staff demeanor and lack of enthusiasm for being there. Didn't fill us with joy. Considering how expensive mattresses are and how much a mattress might mean to someone. We actually walked out and went to John Lewis and came back later that day as still no luck in finding the right mattress for us. We did go back in to store and bought a double memory foam topper and a tempur pillow and also a new mattress (that we had chosen ourselves with no help from staff). Whilst sat paying for the items the lady member of staff was (same as before) really unenthusiastic - she said what she needed to say but with minimal effort, just sad really

First thing in the morning, so no other customers in store so nice and quiet, able to look around and the bed in particular that I went to see. Not too happy about having g to pay £39 extra to get Saturday delivery, seems discrimination against people who work!!

After paying for our purchase we were told that the items were collection only. Store staff would not help me load my items after I’d hired a van at my expense. I wish I was told this before paying as I would not have bothered. I hurt my back lifting the items on my own as staff stood and watched me struggle.
