the assistance was unsure whether it came with a drawer or not; it did. he was very polite but I think it might have been his first day or very new to the job. He made no attempt to talk about the matching side tables which previously you had on offer and I wish I had bought them. There was no other attempt to see if I needed anything else. I asked for delivery to be in April and he said the latest he could do it was the end of March. I had to ring the customer services to change the date to what I had originally wanted.

I cannot praise the staff member Craig enough - he was very attentive without being pushy and gave us enough advice and then left us alone to decide what product to buy. Having started the order, the computer system could not allocate a delivery date. From his paper copy of delivery slots he thought it should be week commencing 20/4/15 and told us we would be contacted to confirm. I have received a call from the store today and am extremely disappointed to be told that the earliest delivery date is Tues 12th May - due to the schedule of my hours at work it has been booked for 16th May. I have told the store and would like to stress that had we known delivery would take this long WE WOULD NOT HAVE ORDERED THE PRODUCT. I feel that we have been misled - we signed the order form (we I understand we cannot cancel) but had no idea that delivery would be at least a month!

I found the sales lady helpful and pleasant, but after delivery I realised that she had sold me an unwanted warranty which hadn't been explained to me and which I certainly would not have purchased. Also that I had been charged for an a.m. delivery slot when I had told her I had no preference for delivery times. So much for free delivery! I cannot believe these were accidental oversights so must conclude that this is sharp practice within Dreams. I rang the Leicester store and spoke to the manager regarding this and missing items from the delivery and found him far less than helpful.

The item I ordered was not available and I was quoted a date of 22 May. Which was 4 moths away. However the assistant Anilndid promise that he would contact the manufactures on Monday to see if anything could be done. He and the manager also promised that I wouldd receive e a full refund if it was going to take that long.

I went into the store to order a mattress on finance. I was told I could only have finance on a mattress over £500 even though the website never stated this. I chose a mattress and when it came to applying for the finance I was declined. The lady tried again which having checked my credit score has affected it. I was flustered due to being unexpectedly turned down but paid for the mattress on my credit card. When I left the store I realised there was a £65 charge for something I hadn't been told about. I called the store the next day and was told it was a 8 year guarantee. Having not had this explained to me in store I informed the manager that this was mis-selling and I wanted a full refund. They had given me apparently FOC mattress protector and pillows which once the manager agreed to refund the insurance asked me to bring them back into store as I was no longer entitled to them. I am appalled by the service provided. I had to take the goods back in my own time and at my own expense And wait a week for refund to be refunded. I would appreciate a phone call by a more senior member of staff to discuss. 07595910766

We explained that we had tricky stairs and that the mattress needed to bend. The assistant highly recommended a gel topped mattress. When it arrived, the delivery guys reused to bend it saying that you shouldn't and it was returned. I have asked for a full refund.

My husband and I ordered a mattress from the Leicester branch yesterday and were informed that we had to pay a delivery charge of £39. We even asked whether there was the option of collecting the matress ourselves but were told that the warehouse is in Birmingham. It was only by chance that I happen to have gone on the Dreams website to read a bit more about the mattress we had purchased that I noticed it stated free delivery...free when delivered to the door but £39 if they take it to a room for you. We are fully capable of taking it where it needs to go but I am not happy that we were just charged like this and if I had not gone on the website we would be none the wiser about it. I have since spoken to customer services and they will refund the delivery charge but that is not the point.
