Dreams - Bromborough

Called into three bed shops on the same retail park and this was the most helpful and least pushy. We were allowed to ask what we wanted and make our own decision, as opposed to the other two stores, where we felt we were being pushed into purchasing something not right for us, simply because it was on special offer.

The staff were welcoming friendly on arrival in store. We were asked what we were looking for offered help and advice encouraged to try the beds. We are very happy with our purchase and so are our family members who also bought a couple of beds.

I was served by Jim and he couldn't have been more helpful - he asked me what I was looking for (bedframe) and then left me to browse for a while. He also told me about a bedframe that was on display in single size but was also available in double size - this bedframe was exactly what I was looking for (for my son's bedroom) and at a very reasonable price. The rest of the transaction was extremely easy to complete and within minutes I had made the purchase. I was offered extra cover for the bedframe which was also at a very reasonable price. I am so pleased with my purchase and although I didn't spend a large sum of money on the store, I was treated as though I had and this made me feel important and valued as a customer. I have to be really honest - initially I went to Bensons for Beds as I felt that Dreams was a little over my budget. However, I got unbeatable value as well as excellent service and when I need to replace my own bed in a few months I will go straight to Dreams. I think that Jim was really efficient and helpful - yet I did not feel pressured by a hard sell approach (like Benson's.) I am very grateful for the wonderful service and for the great value. We visited as a family, and we were allowed to look around without being pestered, then when WE needed assistance we asked, and we were given a non pressured but quality service with all our queries being answered, and given sound advice to what suited us. The assistant dealt with my teenage children in an adult manner, not patronising, listened & advised.

The sales assistant Bob was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions, without us feeling pressurised. He encouraged us to try the different mattresses so we didn't feel at all embarrassed about choosing the mattress which was best suited to us. He explained all the various payment schemes and was very professional. An all round good experience.

Everything was as you would expect. The salesman was knowledgeable about the products helpful and friendly.

I received excellent assistance and was shown alternative products and given really good advice on alternatives including pros and cons. Assistant did his utmost to ensure item will be delivered fit the time it's required.
