The store was unable to assist with the return of a mattress on a 100 day trial, that I ordered online at Dreams. Apparently, if a customer calls the 0800 helpline at Dreams, this is quicker than someone at a Dreams store as customer calls are prioritised over calls from the stores. There is no link between the stores computers and online orders, otherwise the store could have arranged the return of the unsuitable mattress. Instead, I sat on hold on my mobile, at a Dreams store, to arrange the return and then proceed with a new order having tested some more mattresses

When buying my mattress, I wanted to take the finance option. I went into the store once and it could not be done at all, I had to come back the following week and “try again” Fortunately it worked second time round, however it was a long process and I had to wait for a long time.

We called in on the Saturday and were greeted by Callum, he welcomed us and after an intial conversation offered us refreshments. He then showed us various options and was very helpful, we had an issue with the sizes of the beds and needed to remeasure at home. Callum was very understanding and although making a number of suggestions to close the sale did accept our decision and we left with the intention of returning the same day. We were not able too but returned the next day to be greeted by Callum, again we were offered refreshments and after looking at the beds we placed our order.

The Staff were immediately over friendly as soon as I walked in the door it was slightly pushy, I had to keep saying I needed to browse and if I needed assistance I would ask.

i thought for the amount i payed would have been slightly better quality, you sales team are very nice couldnt have been more helpfull

Staff did not have a personal tape measure, so would have to go look for one "that had been borrowed by another member of staff". We used our own body parts (elbow to knuckle) rather than wait. The bed looks like it will take about 4 weeks to arrive - other stores estimate around a week to deliver a product that they manufacture to order. Staff had to go and physically look at the mattress on display to determine what it was and what options were available - that should be available to him on the computer he was entering the order on so that he did not leave us in the middle of a deal. Store windows declare a sale of " up to 50%" but the prices we paid were the only prices displayed. It makes me wonder if the items ever cost more (in fact I suspect not).
