I telephoned the store prior to visiting and spoke to Kevin. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable over the phone which is why I chose to visit the store. In store I was served by Kevin who took the time to understand my needs and offer suggestions without being pushy. The result was that I purchased two beds when I had intended to buy one now and one later

I visited the Potters bar store to test products as I was thinking of buying memory foam as opposed to the spring beds I have had in the past. The Tempur mattress I eventually chose was more expensive on the Dreams site but they matched the price with no problems at all. I ordered it on the Thursday and it arrived on the following Monday. It was so quick and easy. Because there had been so little time I did not receive the big green mattress cover for the old mattress in time. However the guys that delivered my new mattress took the old mattress anyway. They delivered my new mattress on a very hot day-and I was number 11 or 13 on their list but despite the pressure they must be under they were helpful, cheerful and unlike many also had humour. So all in all I am a very happy customer! Thank you

Great low pressure service and once explained the store was easy to self navigate

We had just spent over 2 hours at benson's next door. Despite feeling fed up and tired we decided to pop into dreams to see if they had what we wanted. From the minute we went in it was so different ! Your assistant Amanda greeted us , offered help - but backed off when we said we were just browsing. A few minutes later we needed to ask a question and she was right there. It was by now almost closing time yet she couldn't have been more attentive and we didn't feel rushed at all. She made us a cup of tea while we made our decision. She was friendly polite and professional. It was then when it dawned on us how awful the service at benson's had been Amanda didn't pressurise , was keen to meet our needs, gave professional advice , listened to us - and was incredulous when we asked if we could mix and match! 'Of course ! ' What more can I say. We finally finished the transaction at 6:30. The store had closed. Another couple were next to us who came in even later. Absolutely faultless service and quality. The assistant, Amanda, was very helpful asking what type of bed we would like and then proceeding to find suitable samples to try out, she spend a considerable amount of time with us helping us to find which mattress was right, always happy to help and we never felt pressured to buy. Everything was explained thoroughly to us including the warranties and extended covers which we also proceeded to add on as well as discounted pillows! We would definitely shop again and recommend to anyone looking to buy a new bed / mattress.
