The service was as I would expect, nothing outstanding, functional and we ordered the bed we wanted. We were surprised to be charged a delivery fee when spending the amount we were spending but after a discussion this was kindly waivered. We felt the ordering process could've been a little less chatty... as if the sales assistant was trying to be a close friend which wasn't necessary, I would just expect good product knowledge and an understanding of our needs rather than discussing anything more.

I did not visit any other shops to make any comparisons so I felt it would be wrong to say I was highly satisfied without a comparison.

On receiving the order confirmation I didn't realise that I had been sold insurance as part of the purchase. I heard the sales assistant discussing protection with my wife ad was pleasantly surprised to get a mattres protector for 1p. At the time I actually said. I thought you were going to sell us insurance. Only on seeing the e-mail did I realise we had spent £65 on insurance. This was offset by a 1p mattress protector so I'm not too concerned but a more transparent sales process would be appreciated.

There was a sale on the bed which had £100 off. My mum went in to enquire about it on the Monday, and specifically asked if it would still be the same price on Wednesday. The salesman assured her that it would be. So we went in on Wednesday to order the bed and it had gone back up by £50. We weren't happy about this considering if we had known, we would have ordered it there and then on Monday.

I don't often give top marks. The circumstances would have to be exceptional. This visit was pretty good, but I wouldn't say exceptional.

The store was quite bland and unimaginatively laid out. Upon entering the store it was quite overwhelming will so many beds to look at that without the help of your assistant, it was difficult to know where to start navigating the store.

Had to wait some time to be served and then sales person was caught up with other customers when we wanted to place the order

Extended delivery on item I was sold as during the sale I was told because Dreams was such an important customer supplyers always kept things availabe for supply within 3/4 days. At the point of sale it was disclosed that the mattress was to take just under a month. The Manager intervened and explained that the item was a specialist product and needed to be specially ordered, he was extremely considerate and he persuaded me to proceed.

IT would be nice to just be given a price without all the bits and piece that are added on.
