To be honest I'd planned to buy our new mattress from John Lewis but I saw online that Dreams had a store in Southampton so I made an online appointment. We had no idea what to expect but we were greeted on arrival by Filipe. He was really friendly and easy going. We used the magic bed thing and soon had short list of recommended beds. My husband thought all mattresses were equal but he soon found he preferred certain beds. Filipe had a great knowledge of the different products and their pros and cons. We didn't bother going onto John Lewis - chose the mattress we wanted at Dreams and the rest, as they say, was history. Well, it will be when our new mattress is delivered on 10 March.

Having visited several other stores selling similar products I found the knowledge of the products and help I received from the customer assistant far greater than recently found elsewhere.

We could not have had a better sales experience. Our sales advisor, Chloe, was welcoming, highly knowledgeable and professional. She took great care to understand our needs, to show us the full range of options available to us and to support our decision making and we really appreciated her attentive, patient and unpressured approach. The range of products available to view and experience in store was also comprehensive and well laid out. We would not hesitate to recommend the Southampton store, and particularly Chloe, to anyone.
