Dreams - Southampton

The staff who helped us Chloe and Stuart were extremely helpful and friendly, and knew their products, they were happy to answer all the questions that we had asked, giving us the best and useful information in order for us to purchase the right bed and mattress. They were also very helpful as we had seen a new sofa bed on the website that we are interested in purchasing and went out of their way to find out what store, the sofa bed would be in, so we could go and see it. The store in Southampton was very clean and in good order also making the shopping experience a pleasant one.

We made 2 visits to the Southampton store to establish the right replacement mattress for us for our main bed at an acceptable price. During our first visit Chloe proved to be very knowledgeable and helpful member of staff without being at all 'pushy'. Having compared availability and price elsewhere we returned to the store today and were equally well treated by Stuart, again well informed and helpful. Having decided on our mattress preference and received a price we checked this offer out at John Lewis. We returned to Dreams to again deal with Chloe and Kerry (she makes a great cup of tea). Although difficult to compare mattresses on an exact like for like basis Dreams staff were better informed and prepared to give us the time, the benefit of their knowledge and experience and, ultimately a good deal. Added to this the terms of the deal (particularly the 40 day trial/return element if not happy with the new mattress) convinced us this was the right mattress for us at an acceptable price particularly after we were given a discount on the original asking price. Altogether a very good experience when making a very important decision - well done all staff.

Stuart was very competent and confident which made the purchase easy. We knew what we wanted before we arrived at the store. However, his knowledge was excellent and any questions we had he answered. Therefore making our purchase was easy.

Chloe and her female colleague were very friendly and extremely helpful from the moment we stepped through the door. Their product knowledge was excellent, they listened to my requirements and recommended the appropriate products. Chloe offered us hot drinks and was helpful throughout the ordering process explaining everything clearly. Because of her excellent sales skills, I found the exact mattress to suit me and I also bought a pillow and mattress cover which I had not planned. A very pleasant experience.
