First person we encountered, John, was very helpful and nice. But it took us few days to decide and when we went there second time to place the order, different person attended to us. She didn't explain the difference between mattress protectors so we ended up buying one that is hold by straps and covers only top of the mattress. We didn't realize not all of them covers also the sides. It wasn't worth 35 pounds we spend.

I had previously visited the High Wycombe branch of the store to identify a handful of mattresses for my partner to later select from. The staff were Incredible, I didn't feel pressured and they were very comfortable letting me at my own pace. I was offered a beverage while walking around which was great. On abingdon it was very clear the staff only cared if it wad a sale. No beverage offered (until we told them we wanted to pay for a mattress and at that I had to leave most of it behind as were felt unwelcome to stay and finish it after the order was completed). We struggled to find the 3 mattresses we had come to try. Nobody offered to explain the layout of the store which seemed random. High wycombe had clear structure. Nobody offered for us to try the sleep test which was offered straight away in High Wycome to help us understand the type of mattress that would suit us. I will make the extra journey to high wycombe for the added service and support.

This was my first experience of shopping at Dreams, so I had no previous benchmark with which to give an accurate score.

I was served by a woman called Becky in the store who was extremely helpful as friendly but her manager (name unknown) who she had to check things with a couple of times was extremely rude and unwelcoming. Every question or request I had seemed like it was an effort and she just had really poor customer service skills. Becky was amazing though!

The store and assistant were excellent- however the delivery time could not be fixed, we still have no idea when tbe sofa bed will be delivered

Hi - main reason was that other bed retail outlets offered free disposal of mattress and bed. Dreams charge for this. I got a "discount" on the disposal of the mattress but I am having to dispose of the bed myself as the amount quoted was too high. Also other bed retailers offered discounts when a bed and mattress purchased together, Dreams did not. We went with Dreams as staff were helpful and the design was what we wanted, not out of price. Been nice to have free disposal and maybe a discount.

I only saw one 4ft bed with no mention of any alternatives which | found rather odd.

The item purchased was not in the sale which is what made me visit Dreams in the first place.

Not approached when looking although only customers had to ask for assistance didn’t feel service in store was better than if had done online
