No date could be given As I purchased my order until the following day but I was assured it wouldn’t be long only to get a call the following day to say at least 6 weeks. Had I of know this the day before I wouldn’t have purchased them and I may even be going for a full refund.

Peter was very curtious with us in the store and we agreed a deal that the old mattress would be taken away. On delivery we were told that this was not the case. They telephoned the store and i spoke to Peter and reminded him of our deal, his reply was that he "could not remember" but i reminded him that was what we agreed. Reluctantly he did agree and the delivery men took the mattress so i would inform any future customers to a Dreams store to make sure that information is correct before they leave the store and have everything written down so no dispute on delivery

At the point of purchase we stressed the urgency of a speedy delivery. We were told it would most likely be Friday but could be Monday. We asked if a call to the delivery centre could be made to stress this urgency. Later that day we received a text saying it would be delivered on Tuesday. We wouldn’t have purchased if Tuesday was delivery date.

The mattress was on display and labelled at £149 we said we would take as was told in stock. When we got to till asked for £189 when I questioned price was just told not £149 it is £189. Thus was repeated to me a few times and then finally confirmed labelling was wrong and no apology. I took the mattress anyway but left felling I would not return z d felt very mislead and it was poorly managed by on-site team.

As I regular guy I do not shop for mattresses or pillows every weekend nor I know the small print for every product. I went to Dreams to shop for a mattress and ended up with a mattress and a couple of really expensive pillows (£85 each). My complain is that sale person never made clear to me that pillows cannot be returned. If I had known this at purcharse time I would not have bought the pillows. Now I have 2 very expensive and uncomfortable pillows at home which will gather dust in years to come. Not sure if this is a sale tactic so staff gets a bigger comission but my recomendation is to provide better training to sale staff. It is 2019 and every retailer has a customer satisfaction policy - If Dreams does not have one for certain products then you need to make it CRYSTAL CLEAR to customers.

I was attracted to the store on the basis of an advertised price which did not include expensive delivery costs. Noting the vast majority cannot take a double bed home with them this should be more prominent in the advertised price.

We were told we would get a notification as to when the delivery would be arriving on the Saturday via a text message (to give us a two hour time slot), but instead the delivery van just arrived at 7.30am, which we were obviously not ready for. This was infuriating and made the overall experience with dreams a poor one.
